Unopiù at Milan Design Week 2024

Brand-new collections and innovative upgrades under the sign of excellence

Kicking off a promising new stage in the company's journey, Unopiù makes its long-awaited return to the Salone del Mobile to reaffirm itself as a product-oriented brand and leader in the outdoor furniture sector. Coinciding with this major event is a series of key changes, including the joining of the MSC Group and the assigning of new executive roles, with Beniamino Garofalo and Claudio Costamagna appointed CEO and Chairman, respectively.

Unopiù also takes part in the Fuorisalone through its own showroom in Brera, a special installation along via Tortona - customised for Explora Journeys, the main sponsor of Archiproducts - and exclusive décor for each of the prestigious terraces of the Salvioni Milano Durini concept store.

Unopiù introduces two new full collections, as well as iconic products with new finishes and innovative technical solutions.

Created by Matteo Nunziati, the Davos collection is an endlessly modular upholstered seating system whose design bridges the gap between indoors and outdoors seamlessly thanks to padding and fabrics that deliver the comfort and softness of in-home furniture and aligns perfectly with the current trend of creating fluid, free-flowing spaces. This concept has been central to Unopiù's philosophy since the very beginning, stemming from the desire to create "one more room" (echoing the brand name, which means "one more" in Italian), that is an additional outdoor area at home.

Alongside the Davos collection, other products created in collaboration with major designers will be unveiled, including Nanda by Gio Tirotto and Lulù by Daniel Jarefeldt. Nanda offers a modern, deconstructed and minimalist take on the iconic Bergere armchair, while Lulù is elegant and timeless while light-hearted and playful thanks to its swing-like design. Both are suitable for both indoor and outdoor areas.

Unopiù has also revamped the Treble line, a collection of pieces made from aluminium and cord, whose light weight, clean lines and exceptional outdoor performance make them easily adaptable to urban and residential settings.

Other new additions include a steel and cord sunbed with two large wheels joining the Coco line by Andrea Andretta, a new and unreleased version of the iconic Ginger director's chair and the comfortable Nacre small armchair.

“See now Buy now”: all the new pieces presented at the Salone will be available to purchase starting from mid-April.

Unopiù's stand at the Salone del Mobile 2024 is inspired by the works of architect Luis Barragán. Overseeing this project is Calvi Brambilla & Partners, with styling courtesy of Studio Salaris. Earthy walls and smooth surfaces alternate with wooden parts, forming a textured setting. Shades of mustard yellow and burnt sienna provide a backdrop for the new proposals on display. Vertical openings and ceilings of varying height allow light to pervade and create warming natural effects. A long terrace becomes the stage for the Davos collection, while the other novelties occupy their own dedicated areas. A perforated wooden wall - an homage to the brand's heritage and nod to Unopiù's classic grid structures - is placed in the middle.

One whole side of the stand is dominated by an imposing materials library that emphasises the company's exceptional ability to customise every piece of furniture.

With its return to the Salone del Mobile in 2024 and participation in Milan Design Week, Unopiù reaffirms its status as a leading player in modern outdoor design. With all-new collections, special collaborations and installations and fresh leadership at the helm, the company is ready to inspire and satisfy the increasingly discerning and sophisticated tastes of its customers in both residential and contract spheres.
