NEW FOCUS ON ZINC N°15 BY VMZINC®:

18 INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS PARTICIPATING IN TOMORROW’S HERITAGE

The FOCUS ON ZINC magazine, which VMZINC® has been publishing since 1997, illustrates the brand’s avant-garde spirit and architectural culture. A source of inspiration, it seizes on trends in terms of construction and renovation in zinc worldwide. This 15th issue, which devotes several double page spreads to VMZINC®’s 180th anniversary, celebrated last May, is a real collector item for specifiers. It showcases the most symbolic new international projects of the moment.

Over 58 pages, FOCUS ON ZINC N°15 gives pride of place to 18 original projects*! Commercial buildings, public buildings, individual and collective housing… These diverse projects magnify the materiality of zinc via its diverse array of textures and surface aspects. They also highlight original uses:

• the sophisticated perforations of the Tourist Office in Torreilles in France,

• the shingles of the Atlas Garden Office building in Sweden and the Docks Bruxsel Shopping mall in Belgium,

• the blend of materials and colours on a PIGMENTO® green barge in Germany, a wine cellar in Portugal combining PIGMENTO® red and cork, the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom clad in zinc and timber, and the Vattanac Capital Glass tower in Cambodia with its zinc protrusion.

All the projects are presented over two or four pages, with beautiful illustrations and detailed explanations on the specific use of zinc. With 50,000 copies published, FOCUS ON ZINC N°15 is translated from French into 5 languages**and is available on request from the VMZINC** teams.
