Thaa parquet in a corridor

One of our latest achievements, a central helical corridor with our reference Thaa

Emois and Bois presents one of his last achievements ...

Like the Guggenheim Museum in New York, the Reichstag dome in Berlin, this building in the west of Paris has a central helical corridor which allows access to the 4 floors of which it is composed.

The Thaa laminated parquet, part of our collection "Couleurs du Temps", in oiled oak and PEFC certified, has been chosen for this building. It covers a large showroom on the ground floor as well as the long ramp serving the floors.

The glued laying of this parquet along this corridor represented an interesting challenge: the turns required a whistle cut in order to inscribe the blades in the radius of the curve.

The surface treatment that has been chosen for this floor is the oxidative oiling (drying of the oil in the open air). Solid and easy to maintain, it is ideal for this space with a lot of passage.
